November was one of those months where the calendar was full, the trailer was packed, and every weekend felt like a celebration waiting to happen 💃🎉 From a 30th wedding anniversary filled with love and nostalgia, to 40th, 18th and 21st birthdays bursting with energy, to a 24-year-in-a-row exclusive party tradition that we are so honoured to support — the vibes were immaculate all month long.

We also had some truly heart-melting moments with Year 12 formals, school graduations, and a beautiful daycare graduation where families came together to cheer on their little legends 👏✨ And then there were the surprises — like an engagement that turned into a wedding, proving once again that love always writes the best stories.

Annabelle's Brisbane River 21st — A Party Boat Celebration That Shined Through the Rain

Bethan, a proud Victoria Point local, was helping her daughter Annabelle bring her 21st birthday dream to life on a Brisbane River party boat. She reached out for our huge light-up numbers, and with a quick pickup from our home base, everything was set for an unforgettable night.

In the days leading up to the event, rain threatened to dampen the celebrations — and we were holding our breath hoping the weather would hold. But the beauty of a party boat? They’re incredibly stable, and a little rain has nothing on the energy of a 21st! 🌧️✨

Shona from Thornlands reached out needing tables and chairs for a surprise birthday for her husband — and we instantly wondered how she’d hide a delivery like that! Enter: the son, aka the hero of the surprise.

With the celebration happening at his home instead, we delivered all the gear the day before without raising any suspicion at all.

🎈Teale’s 24th Exclusive Event — A Redland Bay Tradition Passed to the Next Generation

Teale from Redland Bay has been hosting an exclusive, limited-place party for 23 incredible years, and this year marked the 24th — the final one before passing the torch to his sons.

We arrived with the slushie machine, and his sons were already deep in the prep zone, learning the ropes and gearing up to continue their father’s legendary tradition.

Held every Melbourne Cup weekend, this limited-spot event has become a much-anticipated institution.

And this year? It was pure magic, equal parts nostalgia and new beginnings.

Angela & David’s Joint 40th — A Gold Glow-Up Worthy of the Big 4-0

Angela from Redlands reached out at the very last minute — she and her husband David were celebrating a joint 40th and needed decor that would shout the milestone loud and proud.

We squeezed them in with a gold shimmer wall, epic 40 light-up numbers, and an eye-catching black, white and gold balloon garland. The result? A setup that absolutely commanded the room.

Their venue party went full tilt into the early hours, with a Day Two celebration planned at home the very next day.

🎁 Amber’s Redland Bay 18th — Stormy Skies, Firepits & Slushie-Fuelled Fun

Amber from Redland Bay was getting everything ready for her daughter Kaylie’s 18th birthday, planned as a relaxed backyard celebration. We delivered the slushie machine, but the weather that day had us all watching the sky — storms were predicted and the clouds were not looking friendly.

Thankfully, they had a Plan B ready to go indoors if needed. The rain did arrive, a quick burst of chaos… but it disappeared just as fast.
By evening the backyard was alive again: firepits glowing, friends arriving, and ice-cold slushies keeping everyone cool on a warm, muggy night.

Kaylie and her friends partied long into the evening, making memories under the open sky that felt even sweeter after the weather scare passed.

❤️ Tam’s Loganholme Year 12 Formal — A Navy-Draped Night Under the Stars

Tam from Loganholme reached out on behalf of Y-Schools, needing balloons for their Year 12 Formal at the incredible Club Noir — a venue we’d been wanting to see in action for ages. Navy was the theme, but with the recent grand final and two navy-coloured teams, balloon stock across suppliers was wiped clean.

We tried creative solutions like double-stuffing, but the colour just wasn’t right. With perseverance (and a few frantic calls), we found a supplier with fresh stock arriving just in time — crisis averted!

But Tam wasn’t stopping at balloons. The event quickly levelled up to include our brand-new mirror photo booth, the Midnight Lux backdrop, a black shimmer wall, and an additional balloon garland.

The result? A two-hour setup of glam photo walls, elevated décor, and a full red-carpet photo booth experience for the students.

The night was short but huge — filled with laughter, photos, heartfelt speeches from teachers, shimmering dresses and sharp suits.

🎂 Debbie & Brett’s Loganholme 30th Anniversary — A Dance-Filled Celebration of Love & Compromise

Debbie and Brett from Loganholme were celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary, though they initially had different ideas on how to mark such a milestone. In true partnership style, they met in the middle: Debbie got her much-wanted holiday, and Brett got his celebration.

Their party at Fitzy’s Loganholme was brought to life with a silver shimmer wall, 30 light-up numbers, and a Happy Anniversary neon sign. Brett even donned a custom balloon ball-and-chain, which he wore with absolute pride and plenty of laughs.

The night unfolded with music, dancing, and all the joy of three decades shared together, surrounded by friends, colleagues and family who’ve been part of their journey.

Carolyn’s Cornubia 18th — Light-Up Magic for a Milestone Night

Carolyn from Cornubia was preparing for her daughter’s 18th birthday, choosing to keep the celebration personal at home. She picked up the light-up numbers, ready to create that perfect milestone glow.

🎁Amanda’s Redland Bay 40th — A Triple-Milestone Year Wrapped in Slushies, Neon & Pure Celebration

Amanda from Redland Bay reached out to us again — earlier this year we helped celebrate her daughter’s 21st, her son’s 18th, and now it was finally her turn. Entering a new decade, she went all out for her 40th, embracing every moment.

We arrived with the slushie machine and the fabulous “Forty & Fabulous” neon sign, while her husband — a seriously talented carpenter — was already hard at work building custom marquee numbers and outdoor bench seating he crafted himself.

Meanwhile, Amanda was busy brewing coffee for her homemade espresso martinis, ready to be spun into icy perfection in her Ninja slushie machine.

They brought in a pizza truck to feed their guests, music filled the air, and the night turned into a long, joy-filled celebration of life, love, friends, and one more incredible milestone in what has been a massive year of them.

Kevin’s Yamanto 60th — BBQ, Family, Slushies & One Very Cheeky Prank

Kevin from Yamanto was kicking off his 60th birthday in the best way — celebrating at his brand-new property with family and friends. The day began with a relaxed family BBQ, grandkids running around and soaking up the sunshine.

He needed extra chairs and tables to make sure everyone had a seat, plus a cocktailed slushie machine to bring a splash of fun to the adult drinks later in the night. We also delivered the 60 marquee numbers, setting the scene for a milestone worth celebrating.

But of course — every party has that group of friends. At the end of the night, the jokesters flipped the 6 upside down and turned his 60 into a proud 90, getting plenty of laughs from everyone involved.

Scott’s Thornlands Year 12 Graduation Party — Last-Minute Hosting, Big Memories, Bigger Laughs

Scott from Thornlands gave us a call when his daughter Sophie needed a Year 12 graduation party venue — and when no other parents volunteered, Scott stepped up and offered their home without hesitation.

The teens decided on the slushie machine with extra syrup and our mirror photo booth to capture every moment of their milestone night. Their dress code? The most brilliantly chaotic idea: modifying their school uniforms into fun, unique outfits to mark their final farewell to high school.

We set up the Congratulations backdrop, which instantly set the graduation tone and made the photo area pop.

Katie’s Cleveland 40th — Rose Gold Glam, Balloons for Days & the Funniest Cake Message Ever

Katie from Cleveland celebrated her 40th birthday at Fiction Bar, and the tone was set from the moment we heard the cake message her sister created: “Forty, my second favourite F-word.” We absolutely loved the cheeky humour — pure perfection.

We set up a full photo wall, complete with a rose gold shimmer wall, Let’s Party neon sign, and a balloon garland that was meant to be 2 metres… but inflated into an unexpected, fabulous 3 metres of balloon glam.

Katie and her daughter kept us company during setup, sharing laughs as the space transformed into a rose-gold dream. We even took photos together at the end — such a wholesome moment.

It was a beautiful celebration for an amazing milestone, and the perfect welcome into what we believe is the most epic decade yet.

Natalie’s Cleveland 18th — Backyard Bar, Glow Furniture & One Seriously Stunning Setup

Natalie from Cleveland was pulling together an unforgettable 18th birthday for her daughter, transforming their backyard into a stylish little party haven. We rarely get to see these pieces in action once the sun goes down, but Ella’s dad kindly sent us photos from the night — and wow, it looked absolutely amazing. Bronwyn’s Mount Cotton Backyard Engagement… Turned Wedding!

Bronwyn from Mount Cotton was organising what was meant to be an engagement party for her son — only for the celebration to take a magical twist and become a backyard wedding. We dropped off the chairs with covers, tables, and glow cocktail tables early so they could prepare.

Storms were predicted and we were so worried the weather would interrupt their big surprise, but the clouds held off and they exchanged vows undercover in their beautifully prepared space, surrounded by loved ones.

This one touched our hearts deeply — Kahn and I were married in our own backyard in NZ during our engagement party too, so being part of this felt extra special.

Ormeau Shearers Volunteer Night — Award Speeches, Half-Price Drinks & Memories Captured in Print

The Ormeau Shearers (Gold Coast) held their annual Volunteers Thank You Night, and once again we were honoured to help just like last year. Their club room buzzed with energy — food tables loaded, half-price drinks flowing, and a stream of heartfelt speeches thanking the people who keep the club running.

From coaches to committee members, support staff to the partners who absorb the behind-the-scenes sacrifices, everyone got the appreciation they deserved.

We rolled in the mirror photo booth, this year including printing, so each volunteer could take home a keepsake from their well-earned celebration.

A wonderful night celebrating wonderful humans — thank you for having us again and thank you for everything you do. 🌟

Adventist Retirement Plus — A Christmas Party Full of Laughter, Festive Props & Family Fun

The team at Adventist Retirement Plus (Victoria Point) held their annual Christmas party for staff and their families — a warm thank-you for another year of care, service and support for local retirees.

Inside their community hall, we set up the mirror photo booth decked out in full Christmas glory. Guests snapped memories using QR code digital sharing and printed keepsakes, all while donning Christmas hats, green and red glasses, festive props and more.

Kids became elves, adults became reindeer, and laughter echoed through the hall as families posed together.

Thornlands Play & Learn — Prep Graduates Ready for Big School!

The team at Thornlands Play and Learn were celebrating their little graduates as they prepared to head off to prep next year.

They needed extra seating to accommodate families joining in on the festivities, and we were happy to bring this in for them.

These milestones may be small in size, but they are enormous in heart — tiny humans stepping into their next big chapter surrounded by love, pride and cheers.
