Alcohol Ratios (Maximum Limits)
Each slushie bowl can hold up to 1 L (1000 ml) of alcohol.
This is the absolute maximum - going over this amount will stop the mix from freezing.
To help you visualise the split:
70% = 700 ml
30% = 300 ml
20% = 200 ml
These examples show how your total alcohol amount must always add up to no more than 1000 ml per side.

To ensure your slushie machine runs smoothly and safely:
Allow 40 cm (width) × 80 cm (depth) for the machine and trolley
Provide a flat, stable surface
Ensure a dedicated power outlet is available
Keep the machine under solid shelter at all times
Avoid power boards and overloaded circuits
Provide access details (parking, loading zones, stairs or lifts) so we can plan delivery
What to Expect on the Day
Here’s how your slushie machine behaves once it’s set up and running.
With pre‑chilled mix, the machine usually takes 1.5–2 hours to reach a good slush consistency
A soft “mountain” forms in the centre of each bowl as it freezes; once it forms and collapses, the mix will begin to churn smoothly
One side may freeze slightly faster than the other—this is normal; use the colder side first while the other catches up
If the mix becomes too firm, switch that bowl to Chill mode briefly; if it’s too runny, switch back to Freeze until it thickens
At the end of the night, turn the machine off and allow any remaining slush to melt before pouring into jugs
No full clean is required; a quick rinse with cold water is all you need. We handle full sanitisation after pickup.

Do I need ice for the Slushie Machine?
No.
The machine freezes the mix internally - just use the chilled water and syrup provided.
Can I put cordial and fizzy drinks in the Slushie Machine?
No.
Only use water, our syrup, and alcohol (within the stated limits).
Other liquids can damage the machine.
Why isn’t the slushie coming out when I pull the handle?
The mix may be over‑frozen.
Switch that bowl to Chill mode for a few minutes to soften it.
If it’s too runny, switch back to Freeze until it thickens.
Do I need to clean the machine after my event?

Can I use the slushie machine at a park?
Yes - as long as the machine is under proper shelter and connected to a suitable power supply.

Can I run the machine on an extension lead?
Yes - but only if the lead is heavy‑duty, fully uncoiled, and rated for 10A or higher.
Avoid power boards and double adapters.
Does the machine need to be under cover?
Yes.
It must be placed under solid shelter at all times - indoors, under a gazebo, or beneath a weatherproof structure.
Direct sun, rain or wind can affect performance
Can I hire the slushie machine for Christmas?
Yes - Christmas Eve and Christmas Day hires are available.
This period is charged as a two‑day hire due to delivery and pickup scheduling.
