Q. How long does it take for the Slushie Machine to be ready to use?

• Around 2 hours to chill the mix

• Syrup and water are pre‑chilled to speed things up

• Chill or freeze alcohol before adding to prevent melting

• High humidity may extend freeze time

Q. Do I need ice for the Slushie Machine?

• No ice needed

• Just use the chilled water and syrup we supply

Q. Can I put cordial and fizzy drinks in the Slushie Machine?

• No — only water, our syrup, and alcohol (in stated ratios)

• Other liquids can damage the machine — repairs are costly

• If unsure, call us anytime for guidance

Q. Why is the Slushie not coming out when i pull down the handle?

• Mix may be over‑frozen — switch to “chill” mode to soften

• If too watery, switch back to “freeze” mode to firm it up

• Alternate settings until you like the consistency

Q. Do I need to clean the Slushie Machine when I am finished?

• No cleaning required, just put some cold water in it and drain it out to rinse it we will do the rest

• We complete a full sanitisation of our machines after every hire to keep it in tip top shape

• No — it weighs 40 kg and is trolley‑mounted for safety

Q. What happens if I don't use all the slushie mixture with added alcohol?

• Empty the remaining mixture into a jug, pour it into ice block moulds and have some cocktail refreshments by the pool

• It hurts our souls to have to tip it out

Q. Why do you not offer a margarita flavour?

• Yes, additional days are $100 per extra day

• Syrup refills and extra cups and straws are additional costs

• This is great for Xmas hires and long weekends

Q. Can I hire the Slushie Machine for multiple days?

• We had a mixed response from customers about the Margarita flavour

• It hurts our souls to have to tip it out and this was happening too frequently

• We have introduced a lemon and lime flavour as a Margarita replacement option for now

• We may offer it occasionally as we test suppliers to get feedback on the taste
