Tracy pulled out all the stops for her daughter Brianna’s 18th birthday in Redland Bay, and this one was as cool as it gets. Guests arrived in outfits starting with the first letter of their name — from quirky onesies to wild getups that made everyone smile. Our photo booth with the sparkling silver shower backdrop was a huge hit, while the slushie machine kept the deck buzzing with icy Blue Raspberry and Strawberry Daiquiri. The drinks were so popular we had to top up mid-party, with guests lining up before it even finished freezing 🍹. An unforgettable night for Brianna — happiest 18th, and thank you for having us!

After a long weekend of events, Kahn and I made time for ourselves at the Redland Bay Hotel — and their fish lunch never disappoints 🐟. Yes, you read that right — I’ve discovered a new love: line dancing in Greenbank! With a live band, real people, and plenty of boot scootin’ fun, it was a night filled with laughs, challenge, and pure joy 🤠. I never dreamed I’d be line dancing, but here I am — dancing my heart out and loving every moment. Because at SweetAz Co, we don’t just bring the party, we live it too 🎶

👶 McKenzie’s Baby Shower in Victoria – A Dreamy DIY Touch

When McKenzie from Victoria Point created her own hand-painted cloth sign, she needed something extra to tie it all together for her baby shower. Our balloon garland in gold, white, and dusk cream was the perfect match, blending beautifully with her backdrop. Hosted at grandma’s house with gazebos set up on the lawn, the atmosphere was dreamy and warm, with family pitching in — hubby even running for popcorn while we installed the setup 💛.

🌸 Careworker Day in Victoria Point – Celebrating Everyday Heroes

The team at Adventist Retirement Plus in Victoria Point called us in to help celebrate their staff on National Careworker Day. We set up the photo booth with our Floral Fantasy backdrop and props galore, giving the carers a chance to laugh, snap memories, and enjoy their well-earned recognition 🌼. It was heartwarming to bring extra joy to such a special day — thank you for having us and for all you do for the community.

🎉 Jasmine’s 18th in Ormiston – Big Vibes, Big Night

Jodie booked us for her daughter Jasmine’s 18th in Ormiston, and despite me battling the flu 🤒, Kahn got the job done with a little help from Jasmine’s dad (absolute legend!). The driveway was a mission, but we finally made it to the party hub where slow-cooked meats, caravans, and beds were set for a big night ahead. The slushie machine flavours — Fruit Tingle and Strawberry Daiquiri — hit the spot and kept the vibe epic well into the night. Huge happy birthday Jasmine — what a setup!

🪑 Courtney’s Last-Minute Setup in Redland Bay – Chairs Sorted in a Flash

Courtney reached out via our website at the very last minute for chairs for her event in Redland Bay. The timing was tight — the day before Kahn’s surgery — so we delivered the chairs the night before to save him the heavy lifting. On pickup, it was all me 💪 carrying four at a time, back and forth, until every chair was loaded up. Sometimes it’s the behind-the-scenes hustle that makes an event seamless, and we were so glad to make it happen for Courtney. Thanks for having us!

💗 Women in League – Ormeau Shearers Rugby Club

In Ormeau on the Gold Coast, it was all about the ladies for Women in League at the Shearers Rugby Club. We rolled in with the pink pimp trailer, set up the photo booth with a glowing pink backdrop and pink props galore, and joined in the celebration of women’s impact on the sport 💕. No men in the booth this time — just plenty of laughs, love, and girl power. Thanks for having us!

💙 Stella’s 18th in Wakerley – A Blue Celebration

For Stella’s 18th birthday in Wakerley, her mum Leanne went all out with balloons, a DJ, and even security to keep the fun going all night. We brought in the slushie machine, and with flavours Blue Raspberry and Blue Lemonade, the colour theme couldn’t have been more on point 💙. The night was unforgettable, and for me, it was a blast from the past — reconnecting with Leanne after 20 years since working together. So great to see you again, and happiest birthday Stella!

MacKenzie called us in for tables and chairs for Gabi’s 26th in Victoria Point, though our booking system gave us a cheeky hiccup. His street runs through both Victoria Point and Redland Bay, which sent us on a little detour before we landed in the right spot 😅. Once sorted, MacKenzie jumped in to help us carry the gear while the roast was cooking away, and the weather turned on a perfect, cloudless sky. A stunning day to celebrate — happy birthday Gabi, and thank you for having us.
